Having completed a twelve track recording deal with Roy in February , such was the enjoyment I got from it I went back a second time in May with both my son and daughter to have them complete twelve songs also.The result is now an excellent album, not because we were any great shakes, but the quality and professionalism provided by Roy and the help and advice he gave us while in his studio was second to none. His backing tracks are absolutely top drawer and the backing singers added an even better dimension. My son and daughter even recorded songs acoustically and again this was no trouble to Roy who put them both at perfect ease and the finished songs have a quality sound. Generally happy and good quality tracks however I’m disappointed that one of them was only available in a male key range. The Roy’s Tracks title even quotes Live Irish Country Backing Tracks In Any Key…but just not all of them obviously! The tracks are pricy and I would expect multiple key options for all. Or at least a reduced price for original key only tracks. I needed it and couldn’t find it anywhere else so I bought it has to be to transposed -5 which takes a bit from the good quality of the original. I’ll be purchasing many more in the future so I’d hope this issue can be addressed.
